Profile
Founded in 2023, MatAlytics Ltd is an engineering software company established on over a decade of research at the University of Nottingham, developed in partnership with industry leaders in the power generation sector.
Based at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park (UNIP), the company has built on research conducted within the Faculty of Engineering that developed rapid modelling capabilities for critical power generation components by combining fundamental mechanics, engineering simulation, machine learning, and experimental validation. Since its formation, MatAlytics has transformed these capabilities from proof-of-concept codes into CITRUS, a cloud-deployed product now ready for customer trials.
CITRUS enables real-time component health monitoring, enhancing efficiency and commercial performance while supporting next-generation component design. While MatAlytics currently focuses on power generation – including conventional, nuclear, and renewables – it is also exploring other sectors such as defence, metal processing, and Formula 1, with customer pipelines actively being developed.
