Back capital-efficient, IP-rich spin-outs from one of the UK’s leading research universities.
Managed by SyndicateRoom, the University of Nottingham Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Fund I is designed to support the university’s growing portfolio of innovative spin-outs. Connecting the university’s research with its community of alumni and investors, the fund will back 6–8 high-potential ventures, helping them access the capital they need to grow and scale.
The fund aims to return three times the initial investment over a 10-year holding period, although returns are never guaranteed. Eligible investors may also benefit from Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) tax relief, subject to individual circumstances.
Potential investors interested in learning more about the fund, exploring investment opportunities, or understanding how it will support the commercialisation of world-leading research are encouraged to contact Tom Britton at SyndicateRoom ([email protected]) for more information or visit the University of Nottingham EIS Fund I page on SyndicateRoom’s website.
Fund deadline: November 2026
